Friday Friends #18

It’s Friday, and that means I get to share with you a new blogging friend I have found! I love Fridays! 😊

Today, I thought I’d share a blog I found, as she like one of my Tuesday’s Treats. Caitlin’s blog is full of helpful hints, travel experiences and beautiful photography from those travels. One post, in particular, is intriguing to me, because the place she stayed was Patitnum Suites, and the picture of the city looks just like a Platitnum city. Her blog is very informative, as well as, enjoyable, as you can follow her in her adventures and learn something along the way.

I hope you will check out her blog today. Enjoy! 😊

Fridays are the days when we feature a new blogging friend here at The Grizzle Grist Mill. I hope you will join me each Friday to find new and interesting people within our blogging community, and I do hope you will share with me those you have found, too!

Today, I’d like to share with you someone who has connected with me often here, and he was the second person to give me an encouraging word about this new weekly “friendly event.” So, I thought it very appropriate to feature him as my second Friday Friend. 🙂

Andy over at The Wandering Poet has a wonderful blog of poetry, music and photography. I love his 80s music section, and being an 80s child myself, I could get lost on these pages for a little while. haha. The sweetest part of this blog is what he describes as a dedication in his about section. Drop by over there and see the sweetness. 🙂

Well, how did it go yesterday?

If you guessed a sunset, YOU GOT IT!! 🎉😊

I thought it only appropriate to have the New Angle as a sunset, as this will be our last one.

It has been a wonderful, fun time searching for these New Angles for you, and it has been a joy watching you play and guess what they might be. Thank you so much for participating all this time.

I look forward to our new weekly event, which I will be announcing just shortly. Please, come back soon! 😊

Answer to Friday’s Angle #79

How did you do yesterday?

If you guessed a sawfish, you got it right! This picture so intrigued me, because this animal always looks like it’s smiling at me as it swims overhead in the aquarium.

Even though there are lots of similarities, these are actually different than saw sharks, too! I had to read up on them to be sure I was telling you accurate information, as I couldn’t remember which one was at the aquarium. You can read more about these neat sea creatures here

Guess what time it is? It’s Friday and time for another New Angle!

Travel to Another Land

We went to a place recently that I’d like to share with you. It almost seems like a far away land, one of which I’ve read in a book of fairyland or heard of in a dream. It is so beautiful, I long for these days when I return to the routines of mundane.

When I stand at the top of this mountain, I feel like I can fly. I feel as if I’ve been snatched away from this earthly home, from the care and the concerns, from the responsibilities and burdens of this life. I feel as if no harm, no evil, no danger can come my way.

It is a place of beauty, a place of tranquility, a place of senrene peace. My heart longs for it when I am away. My soul yearns for its return.

It makes me wonder if this is a tiny glimpse into what heaven must be like…

Will you join me?
